The Foundation Welcomes New Board Member Andrew Sherriff

The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Sherriff to the Board of Directors.

Andrew is a seasoned private markets investor and family office leader with nearly two decades of experience across private equity, co-investments, and alternative asset strategies. He currently serves as Managing Director at OAPC in Grand Rapids, where he sits on both the Management and Investment Committees. In this role, Andrew helps shape portfolio construction strategy, focuses on private equity manager selection efforts, and manages senior private equity firm relationships. Outside of work, Andrew and his wife Katrina try to keep up with their two children, Marty (8) and Alina (5), and the whole family is quite excited for warmer weather!

Andrew earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, along with a minor in Classical Archaeology. He also serves on the board of Sherriff Goslin Roofing Company, a family business founded in 1906. Outside of work, Andrew is a dedicated father of two, an avid skier and open water swimmer, a reader of mystery novels, and an Eagle Scout.

"I'm humbled to join the [Meijer Gardens Foundation] Board. As a relative newcomer to the Grand Rapids community, the Gardens are a wonderful find for our family. I welcome the opportunity to support any institution that keeps the kids happy!"
