The Foundation Welcomes New Board Member Brad Freiburger

The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Freiburger to its Board of Directors.
Brad is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Meijer, Inc. He joined Meijer in 2015 as Vice President of Finance and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2021. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, having previously served as Corporate Controller and Director of North America Finance at Haworth and as both Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer for X-Rite, Inc. Brad is a Certified Public Accountant and started his career in accounting roles with Price Waterhouse, Arthur Andersen, and Ernst & Young.
Brad earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Master of Business Administration degrees from Michigan State University. He served as Treasurer of the Executive Board for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids for 8 years, and as Treasurer of the Executive Board for the East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation for 6 years. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Renaissance Venture Capital.
